For events with strat limits, all players on a pair or team must be below the strat limit for the event, even if the pair or team average is below the limit.

Knockout events are mini-Soloway style: round-robin or Swiss within each bracket on the first day for two sessions for all teams, reducing to four teams in each bracket for day two. If a bracket starts with fewer than nine teams, semifinalists MUST play two matches on day two for separate awards for first through fourth.

Side Games are part of three groups (Early Bird, Going Hiking and Evening Semi-Fast) but can be entered at any time.

Lots of schedule changes this year, the biggest one being the move to a Thursday-Wednesday schedule.

The comparison tournament in the figures at the bottom is the October-November 2019 Whistler Regional, where the schedule was quite different than this year's version.
This means that some of the 'last time' figures are from slightly different days and events and so they are not as comparable as most tournaments.

In just the fourth District 19 live regional since the pandemic began, we will not be expecting to break attendance records.
We'll hope to get to around 55% of the 2019 attendance, making the target number 758 tables this time — but perhaps we will be pleasantly surprised!
