2023 Leavenworth Regional: Table Counts

For events with strat limits, ALL individual players on a pair or team must be below the strat limit for the event, even if the pair or team average is below the limit. The Wednesday-Thursday team event is played in the Soloway-style, with round-robin teams on the first day to produce semifinalists in each bracket, who will in most cases play two sessions on the second day, including a match for third place. The Monday-Tuesday knockout is a three-session knockout played in the traditional style. Side Games are part of three groups (Morning at 9am, Afternoon at 1pm, and Evening at 7pm) but any Side Game can be entered at any time. The Evening series starts on Monday Evening but ends Friday since Saturday has only a Morning (10:30am) and Afternoon (3:30pm) session, no evening games. The comparison tournament in the figures at the bottom is the April 2022 Leavenworth Regional, where the schedule was virtually the same as this year's version. On the daily result pages you will see comparisons to both 2022 and 2018 figures. In just the eighth District 19 live regional since the pandemic began, we will not be expecting to break pre-pandemic attendance records. We'll hope to get a little more than last year, around 60% of the 2018 attendance, making the target number 549 tables this time — but perhaps we will be pleasantly surprised!
