2024 Ocean Shores Regional: Table Counts

On a computer, to reduce the size of the table to fit your screen, type CNTRL + [minus key]. CNTRL + 0 goes back to the original size. Hover the mouse over a cell in the table to see the attendance for that event in Leavenworth in fall 2023, as closely as we can match the 2023 schedule with the 2024 one. On a tablet or phone screen, these mouse-hover features will not be supported as well in a touch/tap environment.

For events with strat limits, ALL individual players on a pair or team must be below the strat limit for the event, even if the pair or team average is below the limit. The opening knockout team event is a three-session knockout played in the traditional style. Other team events are all two-session round robin bracketed team events, where teams are bracketed into groups of 5-9 teams and play all (or almost all) of the other teams in short matches. Side Games are part of three groups (Morning at 9am, Afternoon at 1pm, and Evening at 7pm) but any Side Game can be entered at any time. The Evening series starts on Monday Evening but ends Friday since Saturday has only a Morning (10:00am) and Afternoon (3:00pm) session, no evening games. The comparison tournament in the figures at the bottom is the Fall 2023 Leavenworth Regional, where the schedule was almost the same as this year's version. On the daily result pages you will see comparisons to both 2023 and 2019 figures. Live bridge continues its slow post-pandemic recovery, and we will not be expecting to break pre-pandemic attendance records, but it is useful to compare with the pre-pandemic crowd sizes to see how we are prgressing. We'll hope to get a little more than last year, around 50% of the very strong Whistler 2019 attendance, making the target number 690 tables this time — but perhaps we will be pleasantly surprised!
